Hi! Welcome to France Elects!

My name is Natalia Martinez and I am a graduate student at Sciences Po School of Journalism in Paris.

This blog is part of a project for Professor Eric Olander‘s Digital Workshop class where the goal is to put into practice our skills as journalists and storytellers using digital media.

Every week, I will take a look at an issue of interest related to the French presidential elections. Politically-speaking, it’s a very exciting time in France and I hope to give you a glimpse of the most important issues in the country, as well as the candidates’ proposals, their campaigns, and the increasing importance of technology in politics.

Please feel free to leave comments or suggestions. You can also follow me on Twitter. The official account for this blog is @franceelects, but my main account is @journatweets.

Thank you for your interest! I hope you enjoy your visit here.
